Executive Chef Megan, born and raised in Indianapolis, has always had a passion for cooking. Inspired by watching Emeril Lagasse as a child, she pursued her culinary dreams by studying at Johnson & Wales University, where she earned degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. With 9 years in the hospitality industry, Megan's journey began as a hostess at Olive Garden and continued through various roles, including a cook at Livery, Rize, and Provision.
Her culinary style draws inspiration from the unknown, with a deep interest in exploring diverse Asian cuisines. Megan loves researching new recipes and traditional dishes, often finding inspiration in cookbooks and her travels. When she's not at the restaurant, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Sadie, listening to John Mayer, and planning her next culinary adventure, like an upcoming trip to New York City. Megan's dedication to her craft and love for discovering new flavors make her an excellent asset to the Modita team.
