Chef Chase Dunigan's culinary journey began in the small town of Benton, Kentucky. At 20, he decided to pursue his passion for cooking, leading him to Sullivan University in Louisville, KY, where he earned his Associate's degree in Culinary Arts. His first restaurant job was at a family friend's mom-and-pop establishment, where he started as a dishwasher and quickly moved to cooking due to his natural talent and love for the kitchen. After graduating, Chase found work at Mesh Louisville, which eventually brought him to Livery downtown and, ultimately, to Modita. With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Chase has honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the craft.
Chase finds inspiration in the great chefs he has worked with throughout his career. Outside of the kitchen, he enjoys relaxing, exploring new dining experiences, and frequenting coffee shops. His passion for continuous learning about food and coffee keeps him engaged and motivated in his culinary pursuits.
